The 3 Best Tablets of 2015 – Sony Xperia is surprisingly good

After writing about the “Top 3 Smartphones of 2015” I couldn’t leave tablets out. I’ve owned all of these 3 devices, and I have to say that I was very surprised with Sony Xperia’s quality. Here is my top 3…

3. Sony Xperia Tablet Z3 Compact

Sony has done a bit of everything in their tablets department, but the Tablet Z3 Compact is still a pretty decent device.

In terms of technological improvement Sony has not invested as much as some of their major competitors. The front of this tablet is very similar to Xperia’s smartphone. And the price is not as good as some of the other devices in the market.

Their Bravia technology makes the screen even sharper and more colorful, and the slim design makes the Tablet Z3 Compact easier to handle than what you would expect. It is also waterproof, which is a great advantage over their competing devices.

2. Samsung Galaxy Tab S

Samsung this time put out a brilliant tablet, super AMOLED, available in two screen sizes 8.4 and 10.5 inches. Samsung has taken the best of its operating capacity and technology creating something very special.

The Tab S has a longer battery life, the screen is something incredible, it’s great to watch videos and surf the web, which is one of the main strengths of this tablet.

It has a very competitive price compared to the current landscape of the tablet market.

1. iPad Air 2

The iPad Air 2 is very, very thin, lighter than its predecessor. The screen has improved significantly, with more vibrant colors. Its processing power has also increased thanks to the A8X processor, with no negative consequences to the battery life. Although they are not all that exciting on the tablet as on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6Plus, the iPad Air 2 also uses TouchID and Apple Pay technology.

Summing up the iPad Air 2 wins as the first choice on this list. This is the complete package without major flaws.

Here’s an in-depth video on the iPad and Samsung tablets that I discussed above.

The 3 Best Smartphones for 2015 – iPhone isn’t number #1

I wanted to share with you my top 3 when it comes to smartphones of 2015. The millions of Apple lovers say that iPhone is the best smartphone in the world, but that’s simply not true. I’m a technical guy, and when it comes to technology Samsung beats Apple.

I’m sort Apple fans, that’s just the truth. But let’s go over each of them…

3. LG G4

Technical Details: 5.5 “screen 2560 x 1440 pixels – Processor Quad-core 1:44 GHz Cortex-A53 & dual-core 1.82 GHz Cortex-A57 – 3 GB RAM – 32 GB storage capacity (expandable to 128 GB) – Removable Battery 3000 mAh – Main 16MP Camera (8MP front) – Android OS

Verdict: The LG focused on what you really want from a smartphone: a major project with regard to aesthetics, screen with vibrant colors and a great camera for pictures, but the result was not as impressive as expected.

The phone has not disappointed, far from it, it has more pros than cons, and for the vast majority of users it will be more than sufficient. The rear leather is a lot nicer than the old plastic option, and makes the model stand out among the competitors using glass and metal finishes. The large screen is one of the best on the market.

2. Apple iPhone 6

iPhone 6

Technical Details: Screen 4.7 “- Processor Dual-core 1.4 GHz – RAM 1 GB – 16/64/128 GB of capacity – 8 MP camera with HD video recording and slow motion – iOS.

Verdict: Why the iPhone is not the best phone in the world? Simple: its price, combined with a screen with a little less resolution and lack of hardware upgrade. The phone does everything you need in an excellent way, but not much different than many other models available, which means that you cannot justify that price as above average.

But if your desire is to have or continue with an iPhone, and not to the 6 Plus for its giant screen, the iPhone 6 is an excellent choice and certainly you will be very happy to use it. The new app that they added is also very amazing. How cool is that!

1. Samsung Galaxy S6

Samsung S6

Technical Details: Screen 5.1 “1440 x 2560 pixels – Processor Quad-core – 3 GB RAM – Storage capacity up to 128 GB – 2560 mAh Battery – Main camera of 16 MP (front 5 MP) – Android

Verdict: While the Galaxy S5 had absolutely nothing special, this time Samsung woke up, started from scratch and did a really wonderful smartphone.

The camera is excellent, audio and video are bright, having a QHD screen that can be considered the best on the market. Unfortunately, this fantastic screen consumes a lot of battery…

The design and build quality of this phone are entitled to the first place in the ranking, since instead of disposable plastic (previous generation), it has a sophisticated material that stands out.

The downside is that it is very, very expensive. If you really want to buy it, evaluate it personally and make sure that it will meet your expectations. Or, if the price does not bother you, congratulations, you have the best phone on the market!

Top 4 Tech Blogs to Follow – My Daily Reading List

Over the years I’ve followed several tech blogs. Even today I still visit these 5 tech blogs on a daily basis to make sure that I don’t miss out on any major news. I highly recommend that you add this list of blogs to your “to follow” list. And don’t forget about Blaze!

Okay, so here we go:

This is my favorite blog. It covers everything from concept technologies, to successful tech companies, or even ongoing crowdfunding campaigns. If those are all topics that interest you, then definitely check it out. It’s one of the most popular blogs online.

Tech2’s content is more geared towards articles and guides on how to use different devices. From TVs to the most recent smartphones. They cover it all. If you read one of their articles a day you’ll get a ton of value from it.

The great thing about is that they’re very focused on new gadgets. Which is exactly what a lot of Blaze is about. This blog has been around for several years and it’s one of the leading tech resources online.

Although a lot of people say that isn’t what it was before, I think that you’ll still enjoy reading their posts. Yes, they do have a lot of stuff now that isn’t related to tech in anyway, like garbage disposal reviews that I read recently, but they’re usually extremely fast in coming up with news from the tech world. Worth following.

I know it may seem like they all provide the same information… But their approach is different. I challenge you to read an article from each of these 5 blogs on a daily basis for 1 entire week. That’s the best way to decide whether or not it’s worth it for you to follow them.

If you’re a fan of technology like I am, I have no doubts you’ll follow these blogs for years to come.

Did you like my first blog post? Make sure to leave a comment below. One of the reasons I started this blog was to meet and engage with people with similar interests to mine. So, I’m looking forward to meeting all of you.

See you next time!
